February 20, 2014 (Cheeky)

I have art class again. The teacher is the same one as last year... And the assignments are different. Which is okay I guess. The first assignment we had was to write about a quality and explain your pitfall and other stuff.... Anyway you had to make something out of your weakness, which I pointed out as being annoyed and bored easily. During her talk I was reaaaally annoyed and she said something like "what bothers you about other people can be your weakness" and she was boring me and I was loosing interest and attention.
Now to the meaning of this piece of art. Attention. Basically the black spot is where the attention I should have is, and the colours are what are happening around me! Bright colours needing to calm down.

    Interesting.

    I love the stuff you come up with when you use your art journal and stuff. I'm trying to do things like that, but it's not always the easiest. I end up spending days trying to work out what I want to draw and then end up thinking that it's not the way it was in my head. But it's all good. I'll get there.
