Spend another day with Lara. We managed to do some powerpoints... Of course I'll have to show her more later... So wooohooo! Yesterday Shecky slept over at Lara's! That was the first time he did not stay with me! Anyway Lara got him a bandage, cause his arm was hurt and she wrote her name on it as well. She had glasses too, but I lost them... Lol!

February 28 - Dorky

Today was a very very painful day. But I drove to Canberra to visit Wimmy so that's all good. On the way I stopped off to buy some hot chips and I took this photo while I was driving. Naughty I know, but it came out kinda awesome don't you think?

The chips were sooo yummy but I couldn't finish them. I know that I shouldn't really eat them if I'm on a diet, but :$ I just had a craving.

We'll stop at this take away when you're here, because it's halfway between Canberra and Temora and has yummy food.

Soooo I was suppose to show Lara how to use Powerpoint, the problem was that the powerpoint was not on the laptop they had. And I hadn't brought mine over.... Cause it was heavy. Also the tram was being a bitch... It was raining all day and we got out at the wrong stop. A few times! Grrr! Anyway it was Lara's birthday on the 7th and we (I was with Feyza) decided to get her some presents. We got her this, and owl so she could make it. (Also another one with flowers to hang around...) And I am going to get one for you too of course :P It was fun to make, but mostly it was done by me and Feyza... Lara wanted to reeaaallly finish it, but yeah her motor skills are of an eight year old :P
And it was a good day!

February 27 - Dorky

We have a long rose garden, with bush roses, and standard roses, and climbing roses, and carpet roses and yeah, Lots of lovely lovely roses.

Today Mum picked a bunch of them and arranged them. Usually I'm the one that does the flower arranging but mum did it this time and I just thought it was so beautiful that it deserved to be the photo of the day. Didn't she make it look so lovely/ It's just so pretty.

The pink ones at the back have a lovely perfume, but the others don't really have a perfume, which is always sad I think. A rose without a perfume. :( Oh well

Sooo I had a long day. I spend a few hours working on Elif's essay, which was funny cause it was kind of easy to make it for her. Which reminds me I need to work on my own stuff too. I also finished a chapter and started a new chapter for Pedagogy of last year.
Then I was not going to go to the po box, but decided to go anyway! And I am glad I decided to do that, cause I got cards and a letter from you :D Thank you! And yes I need to give you my homeadress, which I will do soon! <3

It has been raining on and off today, and I wanted to get a photo of the raindrops hitting the table in the courtyard, but I'm not sure it really worked. This is a glass table in the courtyard just outside my bedroom, and you can *kind of* see the drops. But you get the idea right?

I told you I got a letterbox... Well this is it. I kept seeing it, but it was kind of expensive... And it was also one Euro more than I thought :P I have it and I like it. It means I can keep the letters and cards I get in it. The first cards you can see are from Postcrossing (Germany and Belarus!) Than your letters, I have some other things in it too :) Oh and I put the stamps in the drawer under it! :D I have a box filled with them... I need new stamp collecting books :S Eep... But yeah, worst stamp collecter over here! Anyway I loooooooove it!

February 25 - Dorky

Today Mum, Dad and I went on a road trip. We just went for a drive, to check out the area. There are so many back roads and stuff. We were originally going to find a park to stop to have our sandwiches, but we couldn't find one, so we ended up pulling over by the side of the road, under the shade of some trees, and had our picnic there. It was lovely.

Occasionally cars drove past and they may have wondered what we were doing, but so what? It was nice. We're going to try and do it again.

Next time we just need to remember to bring aerogard, to stop the flies bugging us!

Today was filled with headache and sleep. And resting...
I went on a walk, my gps went mental and instead of 5/6 km it said I walked 33 kms in 1 hour and 10 min. I also went to my po box. Which was empty. So yeah.
I am going back to home address... And not sending so many cards. I have calmed down compared with few years back :D
Anyway. Boring photo of an emty po box.
Also no homework/schoolwork is being done :(.

I was hungry so I decided to make myself a sandwich.

Am I the only person on the planet that thinks these are yummy? But they have to be made with really soft, really fresh white bread or they're no good.

Soooo.... We were talking today, I went to get breakfast and my brother told me we were going to the movies... He got free tickets for Non-Stop, which was a meh film. It was in Amsterdam, we had to go there :) And we parked on the roof of a building... That was the parking place! Seriously!
Anyway when I looked down this was my view. Amazing hey! :)

My mum has been making me new clothes. She picked out some fabric the other day and she made me a jacket with a bird cage print on it, and a top to wear under it, and I am going to wear it to school tomorrow. She was somewhere with Da today and there was a stall selling jewellery. She found this set, and it's just the right colour to match the birds and cages on the jacket. So she bought it for me. It's sooooooooo pretty!

We went to friends, Lara's parents and I spend most of the time playing and talking to her. She is such a hyper little girl! Anyway her mother had this on the table and I was reaaaally looking forward to have cupcakes or something that looked awesomely sweet...
Instead they were felt stuff! :D Somebody she knew was making them, so she got a bunch! They were made really proffesionally! Lovely! <3

Ages ago, when I was in Canberra visiting, I found these lollies. Of course I had to buy them for you. But then I lost the bag that had them in it. Did I end up sending you some other ones? I can't remember.

Anyway, Mum was cleaning up the craft room yesterday and wanted me to help, and I was going through a bag and I found them. I was going to post them to you, as originally planned, but they are due to expire in a couple of days. So I ate them. :) They were yummy. I should send you some.

I bet there are no lollies called Dorkies though. You're spoiled! :P

Aaaah Friday was suppose to be my study day and guess what!? That did not work out! Here I am in the waiting room with my uncle and grandma, she had an appointment. It was suppose to be at 3pm, but the doctor was busy so we finally got to talk to him 40 minutes later... Yes... Anyway grandma got 2 new meds for her bones and something else... And I was needing food and sleep, being awake since 8 am and only breakfast!
Oh and look at the painting on the wall! I love it! Poppies! <3

I'm getting quite a collection of turtles in the courtyard. This is one that Kim, a friend, bought me. Isn't he just the cutest little thing? Now I have have five turtles out there and Bernie has an echidna (It was his birthday present from my mum last year).

They're breeding! The turtles, not the turtles and the Echidna. That would be painful!

I have art class again. The teacher is the same one as last year... And the assignments are different. Which is okay I guess. The first assignment we had was to write about a quality and explain your pitfall and other stuff.... Anyway you had to make something out of your weakness, which I pointed out as being annoyed and bored easily. During her talk I was reaaaally annoyed and she said something like "what bothers you about other people can be your weakness" and she was boring me and I was loosing interest and attention.
Now to the meaning of this piece of art. Attention. Basically the black spot is where the attention I should have is, and the colours are what are happening around me! Bright colours needing to calm down.

February 20 - Dorky

Today Mum and I went to Wagga to listen to a talk about weight loss surgery. Basically they remove a whole chunk of your stomach and you're left with a stomach the size and shape of a banana. It makes you fill up a lot faster, it's safe, you don't get hungry, and if you eat chocolate cake you end up shaking and sweating and wanting to vomit.

All in all it sounds horrific.

I enjoy food, but it's not a comfort thing. I mean, ok, sure there are times when I will eat to make myself feel better, but I'm just as likely to play a computer game or buy a magazine. What I do with food is, it's my hobby. I enjoy the making of things, usually. Pouring over the cookbooks, imagining what to make, preparing the ingredients, trying to get it to look good on the plate (I always fail at that bit!). But while I admit that I really need to lose weight, I don't want to do it this way.

So after we went to the info session and I was panicking and feeling like I had to get out of there, we went and got Italian and I ate pizza. As you do!

Today has been a painful day, my feet have been really aching. But I've been looking up accommodation for my visit and that has been LOTS of fun. :)

It's a long time till I get there (sorry) but I can't wait. It's been too long since I've been to visit.

Now if I could only find a place to stay where I had space to myself, it was cheap, and it had free wifi and was comfortable, I'd be in heaven!

Sooo I thought I had a photo of Psychology... I couldn't find it on my phone... I am sure it is somewhere! I laughed my head of cause it was about Psychoanalysing and Freud! (Basically your childhood and sex!) Hahah! So here is a photo of developmental pathology. The guy was kind of funny to listen too and I was on the first row! For the first time! I got kind of bored, cause he first had to talk about what we were going to do... Anyway! :D Fun class! Loads to Read!

I actually had a choice of two photos for today. Mum and I drove over to Wagga and we had to stop part way there so I could stop driving. I was starting to feel really sleepy (Stupid meds). When we stopped I looked down and this is of the side of the road. The gravel on the verge or whatever it's called.

The other photo might have been more amusing. When we were at Wagga I needed to go to the toilet, and when a cleaner saw me hobbling along with my walking stick he said that there was a line to the toilets and I could go to the disabled toilets or the parents' room. I thought I was going to the disabled toilets but I ended up in the parents' room, which has changing tables and a place for mothers to breast feed, and also a double toilet.

Yup

There is a small room, and it has a regular toilet in it and also a small one, for small people. So I guess parent and child can pee together!

Cracked me up and yes, I took a photo, but not posting it on here. I can email you if you want.

Right so I met up with Nisha! :D We had some tea and later we wanted to get some cheesecake! But guess what! On Monday's the Cheesecake Factory is closed. So we went to HEMA and got these. Chocolate Cake, it was a bit dry, but yeah! Aaaamazing! I needed it, after this I had my first class. Boredom!

Dad was driving somebody over to Young, a town near by, and decided that the car needed to be clean, so we took it to the car wash. Dad is hosing it down, and you can see me in the reflection, but the car looks nice and shiny.

If I'd thought of it sooner I could have got a really good shot of the water, but oh well. This still works.

So I went to see "That awkward moment" with selim, after which we decided to have Eazie! They have now Ramen noodles, which I ordered with the Sate saus! Sooo good! Anyway, we didn't eat it in the restaurant, also not home, but at the parking place of the nearby mental health place. They also have this kick ass bird house (Did you ever go here with me?) Soooo amazing! Anf they were playing with me! I love these birdies! (Weren't these Aussies too?)

This is actually a very very sad photo. Do you see all the bumpy wool on the right? That's wool I pulled undone from the sleeve for my nephew's jumper. It had a pattern of, well they were meant to be dinosaurs but they looked more like giraffes (the pattern's fault, not mine!). I'd also done some more stripes, but the pattern part had pulled in too tightly and it needed to be redone. :(

OH well. It's all fun and games. And it doesn't REALLY take all that long!

I was wondering if I took a photo for today. I went to bed early cause I had a humongous headache... So I slept most of the night! :D And this was the photo on my phone. We were looking at the last trip we took, with my cousins and brother to Belgium. This was in Brugge... Or Ghent... I am not sure. I used it to put it on Instagram :P Heeheee! So it became the photo of my day :D

Meet my new best friend! It's a heat pack. Don't be jealous, but I don't think you'd really appreciate having to sit on my belly to make cramps go away.

Meet my Valentine! A book! I spend a half hour or so in the library reading which was nice and calming. And I mananged to read a few more chapters!
Also bought a card rack! It's in my room, no idea where I should hang it! I bought one with 9 card holders... There was one who was bigger... But I like this one! I wish I had a seperate room for the craft crap I have!

Look what I did! I bought an art journal book today when I was at the shops. It cost me a whole $3! And I came home and did my first picture. No, it's not a Doctor Who thing. It's how I've been feeling. My legs feel so wobbly and wibbly, so I did all the wibbly wobbly lines behind the text, and it actually kind of helped me calm down a bit.
I still feel like I'm made of jelly, and I'm going to go to bed fairly soon I think, but I wanted to show you this! I hope you like.

Sooo this morning's lecture was interesting, I lost my interest after an hour of sitting in the same position! I got really tired! So my attention span was lost! :P

Then I had a break, I went to the library to get a book. I bought some candy and coke. Bought tea! Then went back to school to meet some girls :) We were going to eat, but nobody could decide... So annoying, I wanted to go really unhealthy.... But ended up having spicey chicken at this Thai place across the station. It was 2,95 :D Really yum!

Then had the two most boring lectures! One was about how to use internet for selfhelp... Which is okay, but... It feel like we will end up like the humand in Wally, sitting behind a screen and not having human contact at all! Then it was about life stories. Which was told by boring people, I was expecting people to tell their stories!

Then I had some tea and waterpipe with Dina. Got home and had more food. Room. Art Journal. Shower. More art journal (did 3 pages today) Now in bed ready to sleep. Night to me, goodmorning to you!

So I wanted to do some gardening. I could have taken a photo off the garden bed I weeded. But it was too dark, so here is a photo I took a bit earlier, of another of my vegetable garden beds. It's growing lettuce, marigolds and papsicums! (I love that name for capsicum!)
I need to plant more seeds, but it's so hot I worry they will die. Oh well, better do research.

Meet my new candles! I bought them cause I though they were cute! I put them back in the box, I have these candles from Primark I got the last time, they don't smell as good as I thought... Oh well!
I got some other stuff for myself too, ridicilous! But I deserved it after yesterday! Hahaha!
So now watching Medium on Netflix and will sleep soon. Tomorrow I have a kind of loong day, I start waaay too early! At 8.45 is the first seminar! Who's idea was that!?

FOh and 6,4 for Development Psychology part two! I could have gotten a higher grade, but hey just reading and doing tiny tests helped me! <3

When I got home from work today I decided that I wasn't going to do any school work. I was just going to play Dragon Age. I've been doing it for hours tonight. I got to this village and it cracked me up!
It's a secret village, full of cultists. Crazy people that believe this random rubbish. So my party has to go around and basically kill every one of the crazy cult people. Plus some dragonlings (small dragons). Shhhh, don't tell the twins!

I got these flowers. I am glad it did not end well! hahahahaha!!! Also my new favourite sentence: "I don't know what to say." Not really expected that from a working 28 year old man. Kinda sad and pathetic. Oh well we have some nice flowers in house now!

Today is Jaffa's 1st birthday! So of course she had to be my photo of the day. She was such a good girl to pose for this photo. I said I wanted a photo so she looked up at me, but the camera wasn't ready, so I told her to go back to what she was doing, and then when it was ready I told her to look up again. Isn't that such a model pose, glancing back over her should and staring intently into the camera!
I love my baby girl. She is becoming more and more affectionate, and she's almost as big as Bernie now, although I think Bernie is losing a bit of weight, which is good. Jaffa isn't a fat cat, she's just sooooo beautiful.
Yes I know I may be bias, and I realise that other people may think she's funny looking. Maybe she won't appear on any 'cute cat' calendars but frankly I think that's an oversight on the calendar company's part.
And I'll stop raving about my kitten now

February 8 - Dorky

Mum, Dad and I drove over to Young to visit Fr Phil, who used to be the parish priest here in Temora. He had operations before Christmas and there were complications and he was in hospital for ages. Now he's in a nursing home in Young, and hopefully he'll eventually come back to Temora.
Anyway, before we went to see him, we stopped and had some toasted sandwiches at a bakery. I saw these in the window and I knew I had to get a photo. They are made of meringue! I wonder how they taste! They're probably far far too sweet, but they were just so cute.
I had other photos as well, scenery, but they're on my camera and I'm too lazy to get them off right now. Oh well.

I've been tidying up my desk, and I have all this paper that I need to throw away. So I've been sitting here, watching tv, and screwing up paper. Lots and lots of paper. You can't see all of it here, but I thought it looked kinda funky.

I walked form home to Ikea in 30 minutes :D Also I think I might have walked a bit more than the 5 kms the app on the phone said :D :D :D I bought these boxes there, I want to get more! I need to throw out the old boxes I have! They are starting to annoy me! :P I need stuff to look better in my room... Even if I don't have money to do so! I need pretty stuff around me! 

Also the day went shit after that! I knew I should have stayed in bed in the morning.

Today I stayed home because I wasn't well. So Mum brought me breakfast in bed. Isn't she lovely? A cup of tea, some watermelon, and a towel to wash my face, since watermelon is so messy!
Nice way to start the day. I wonder if I can convince her to do it again tomorrow?

Eazie food! After the exam for development psychology :D Second part, let's hope for a miracle! I think I mixed up a lot of things... I did read two chapters in a day and all... I was so tired I lied in bed all day after I got home! :D <3 Oh this was with Dina, we also went to Primark... I bought bracelets! :P And T-shirts for Selim.... But wooh!

So 2 of these tapes were 69 cents! :D So these were the ones I could find in the store... I love em, they are 1 cm and 1,5 cm and 5 meters long! :D I also got pans (3 for 19,95) White Ceramic ones, 2 car glass cleaning stuff one for dad and one for brother, rose flowered scented bags and stickers. I think I named everything :P Tomorrow I am going to get more washi tape, if I can find them :P Yes I am obsessed!

Also the test I did today... I didn't learn for it, but I have a strange good feeling about it... So hopefully just enough answers right. I am thinking of retake though.... Right now I am watching an episode of a show called "Apperations" and will go back to reading for tomorrow!  I am almost finished with one more chapter, I have 1 chapter left! I will try my bestestestest!!! I don't want to retake this! :( I hope enough information went into my head!

I took this photo early this morning. I was reading about your exam result and I was so excited for you I didn't watch what I was doing when I was putting my cup of tea on the bedside table. I hit the side of the table and it spilled everywhere!

This is the classroom all set up for the iPads we were giving the kids. Such a long day. Oh well. It was good at least. The kids were pretty well behaved, so that's good.

Soooo tired though. And we have two more days of it, as we work through the other classes. Yay.
