April 4 - Dorky

We have very greedy cats. They keep trying to tell us that they don't have enough to eat. So Mum decided to sort out something. She has made boxes, and labelled them all, and now we put their cat food out, all sorted.

They each get a little tin of food for breakfast. They share a tin for lunch, and they get a small tin each for dinner. Plus they have a constantly replenishing bowl of dried food.

No idea a) how Bernie has lost weight and b) they think they are still hungry, but anyway!

April 3, 2014 (Cheeky)

Right, I am going to get home from school. But this was the photo of yesterday. I skipped class and got home and slept. When I woke up I went for a walk and got this cheesecake. It was good, we schould get it when you are here too! <3

April 3 - Dorky

Tomorrow I'm making biscuits with my year 7 Italian class. They have a test in their first lesson and then in the second lesson we're making these. Amaretti. I tried making some tonight and they were sooo simple.

So this is everything all bundled up so they can make them.

April 2 - Dorky

This is called a Chinese Lantern flower. It's sooo pretty, and the tree we have in the front yard is suddenly full of the flowers. I got it because it reminds me of Lily, and red is good luck. It's not a Chinese plant, it just has a Chinese name, but whatever!

It's lovely and it's doing really well, so what more could you want?

Sooo my April has started with a cup of Hotcoldrex...
Yup. Hello Spring! Thank you for making sick or maybe it was me.
Couse of the beach walk, it just came sloooowly and now I am all snotty!
I also love this cup! It is old, but I saw them in the stores again... 5 euros for this cup!

April 1 - Dorky

This is a jumper I'm knitting for my niece. We bought the wool a while ago and I've been plodding along with it, off and on for a bit now. I started it after I finished my fair isle hat earlier this year. It's growing, which is good, and it's interesting enough that I'm not falling asleep with it, but I'm already getting itchy needles! That's the term I've just this moment invented for when you want to move on to something else!

I was thinking earlier today that I bought wool on my last trip over to Holland as a souvenier and I've not done anything with it, so I have to use it before I go back. Hmm, might have to make some hats I think! Can't have enough hats. :)

If only I was allowed to wear them while I was teaching :( Oh well.
