Spend the day with my sister in Rotterdam! Of course we didn't get any help at the Turkish consulate... Bloody morons are the worst people in the country. You go there for help, but they don't even look at you and call you a liar! I hate to visit the place even if I need to get something done! Ugh! 

Anyway, during the lunch break, for Selim, we got to get something to eat. My sister got Patat and selim and I got these gorgeous and yummy paninis! Love it! When you get here, we have to have something from this place! <3

April 22 - Dorky

Today I went to Living and Giving and did some school work. This is me trying to work out the different activities I'm going to be doing with my year 9 class. I get lots more done here, at least some times.

I wish you were here. I'd drag you down here and we'd study and work together!

Study study study! Spend most of the day at the library to finish this thing for Ethics... I think I will get a good enough grade! 

April 21 - Dorky

One of the things that Mum and Dad wanted Wimmy to help with when he was down (we always get him to help in the garden and stuff) was making a frame to go around the water heater in our courtyard. We had bought this bamboo screen that has been attached to a board so it fits around the heater, but the bamboo had started to get mould on it. So this is us using a high pressure hose to clean the mould off. It worked really well and was lots of fun (powerful water! If I could be a superhero I'd love to be able to control water, even though I don't really swim and stuff, but anyway. Guess I just want to be Percy Jackson).

April 20 - Dorky

Wimmy came to visit yesterday. Lily has gone to China to visit her mother, and so Tim came to spend Easter with us. Tonight we played this game. It's a card game, not with regular cards but special cards. We were playing it a bit wrong, but it was fun anyway. And I won! Yayay!

I miss my brother.

Meet the ducks of TU Library. I sat on top of the library to study, these came near me! I didn't have food... So they walked to others who had food! Lol! We need to have a picknick on top of the library when you get here! 

April 19 - Dorky

After dinner tonight we were given our Easter Eggs. My very very very very very favourite eggs are Elegant Rabbits. These things! Mum got me two of them! YAYAY

I won't eat them till tomorrow, because I've been eating other chocolates today, including some rocky road I made, but I thought they deserved a photo.

Tomorrow's picture will probably end up being a half eaten rabbit or something, but we'll see how we go.

April 18 - Dorky

So Bryn would tell you that this is the best time of the year. The Great Chocolate Festival!

I decided to have a go at making chocolates this year for Easter, and this is my first shot. Peppermint chocolates.

I made the fondant filling to go in them, and they actually taste kind of yummy. They don't look as neat as they could, but by the time I got to the whole filling them stage of proceedings I was over being careful, so I just squashed things in there. I'll do better next time. But yeah, I'm kind of impressed with myself for making these.

Tomorrow I'll make other types of chocolates as well.

April 17 - Dorky

Today is Moogi's birthday, and I made her this hat for her. I made it yesterday, and I gave it to her after midnight. It took me about four hours and it was so simple to do. I'm so proud of myself.

I took mum and dad out to lunch for Mum's birthday, and this is when she was about to leave. I wanted a photo of her in her hat, and I wanted a shot of the hat, so yeah. What do you think? Not bad for a hat I made up as I went along!

Seriously I walk past this window every day and this kitten is there... Every day! so Today I took a photo of her/him with her pretty curtain! :D And look at the pose this one is giving me! hehehee! <3

April 16 - Dorky

Today my grandfather (Mum's dad) and my aunty Debbie came up for lunch. I made my favourite apple cake. When you make it you put in half the cake batter, then a layer of sliced apples and some flaked almonds, and then the rest of the cake batter, more apple and more almonds and you have to bake it for almost an hour and a half. Then you serve it warm. It's sooo good.

I've been doing lots of cooking lately. Lots of baking. I'm enjoying it. I need to do more of it. I just get tired, being on my feet. But oh well.
